/ Milos expands to China

March 2007 - Milos, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of modular aluminium truss systems, towers, roofs and stages, has opened a new factory in China. The new manufacturing plant named Milos Guangzhou was opened in the city of Panyu of the South Chinese Canton Guangdong Province, and has already shown dynamic development. The operating plant equipment is of the highest technological calibre, and the working environment, as well as the resulting products, meets the most rigorous standards of the European Union.

František Zykán, managing director of Milos, commented on the opening of the new operating plant, “I perceive the start of our manufacturing capacities in China as the next logical step in meeting the rising demand for our products in this part of the world. It is a great challenge and commitment to capably meet the needs of our clients.” Stephen Huang, managing director of Panyu Milos Metallic Products, added: “Our production is designated for the Asian and Australian markets. At each location, we will supply products for the entertainment and exhibit industries, precisely in the spirit of the Milos philosophy. This means fast production and supply of a quality product at a competitive price to our customers, as well as extensive support ranging from project development to delivery.”
