Czech Republic based trussing manufacturer MILOS announces its 2010 Technical Workshop event, which will take place on February 26th & 27th at its HQ near Prague.
It is designed to highlight new and key products in the MILOS range of trussing, staging and roofing systems and will also focused on the high quality services and support offered by the company.
Products covered will include the MR2 10 x 6 metre roofing system, the MRT1 rigging towers, the new free-standing LED screen support system and full range of QuickTruss products, the complete X-Stage range, plus barriers and ramps.
Attendees will be able to see first hand all the elements involved in the MILOS manufacturing process, including cutting and automatic welding, all types of trusses, the production of circles and other shapes and special projects, control, packing and final products. It will also include a tour of the MILOS Design Centre, which is at the core of the company's worldwide operations.
MILOS has again invited Norbert Tripp Expo Engineering from Germany to present the Static section. This will cover numerous interesting topics including material quality vs truss loading capacity, truss elements and pre installation inspections, connection options and their respective loading capabilities, wind protection for ground support & roofs, plus other elements relevant to structural engineering and construction.
Basic rigging techniques will be demonstrated in a session presented by rigger from Apex Riggingschule Germany.
